Things To Avoid When Planning a Kids Party in Perth

Planning a kids party in Perth is time consuming and can be stressful. There are lots of details to iron out when trying to organise everything.

In case you are thinking of throwing a party for your child, we have put together a list of the things to avoid.

Mistakes on the invitations

This maybe an obvious one, however be sure to check and double check all of the details on your invitations including the date, time, venue address and contact number.

Not planning

Even the smallest of parties require some form of forward planning. By making a list of all the things you need to organise early on you can work through each one and start ticking them off. If you leave everything to the last minute you’ll be rushing around gathering bits on the day which will be very stressful.

Excluding the birthday child from the planning process

An easy trap to fall in to is making the party all about you. Don’t lose focus of the fact that it’s your child’s birthday party and you should get them involved in the planning process. For them that’s half of the fun.

Don’t Neglect RSVP’s

Chase your RSVPs! There’s nothing worse for a child than a party where no one shows up. Make sure you set the RSVP date for two weeks out from the date of the party so that you have time to chase those who don’t get back to you on time. There’s no harm in sending out a reminder text three days before the party too.

Not asking the right questions

There’s two important questions you should ask all your guests;  Do they have food allergies/special dietary requirements and what’s their emergency contact number. Not having this information could result in a serious problem.

For a stress free kids party, why not book a game truck?
